My wife and I have been house parents for teenage girls for a couple of years. Many of the girls have grown up in extremely difficult circumstances. They learned to survive by their wits. Usually, that included lying about stuff. Strategies of lying worked for them when they were little, but now lying does more to hinder their growth than to help it. It creates distrust in the people in their lives. I developed this Bible study around the idea of living life without guile. I hope you enjoy the study and are motivated to be, like Nathanael, a man (or woman) without guile.
