Story My Dad Told Me This story has been passed down in my family for at least 4 generations: A man owned a team of horses and a wagon. He wanted to hire a new driver. As a test for hiring, he took each driver up a mountain and back down, on a narrow road with steep ravines. The first driver was very proud of his ability. He drove the wagon within an inch of falling down the ravine all the way up and down the mountain. It was impressive. The second driver was not so confident. He drove within an inch of the edge of the mountain all the way up and down the mountain. Which of the drivers do you think the man hired? He hired the second one because he respected the danger of the ravines. The Moral of the Story: Don't be over confident with sin. Don't live as close to sin as you can without sinning. Respect it's power and keep away from it.
